- Craig Goodliffe Is Revolutionizing Remote Work with Cyberbacker
By Robert White, Editor-In-Chief Craig Goodliffe, the CEO and founder of Cyberbacker , is a visionary entrepreneur transforming the landscape of remote work and virtual assistance. His journey from selling real estate to creating a global virtual assistant company is one of innovation, leadership, and a profound understanding of how technology and human connection can change lives. Today, Cyberbacker is not only a leader in providing administrative support services, but it also stands as a beacon of opportunity for people around the world, particularly those in the Philippines, where Goodliffe’s workforce is primarily based. Cyberbacker ’s success didn’t happen overnight, and its roots trace back to Craig’s early years in the real estate industry. In 2003, as the U.S. began emerging from the Great Recession, Craig found himself struggling to get his real estate listings noticed. Desperately needing help, he hired someone to keep the listings fresh and updated. That someone was Daphne, a virtual assistant from the Philippines. "I didn’t realize at the time the huge impact it had on her life," Craig reflects. "The ability to employ her created a great service not only for her immediate situation but also for her future." Craig’s collaboration with Daphne turned out to be so successful that in 2017, his real estate team sold over 200 homes with her help. This pivotal experience led him to launch Cyberbacker in 2018. The mission of Cyberbacker is simple yet powerful: to connect small business owners with talented virtual assistants, or “backers,” who provide full-time, dedicated support. The company’s stringent hiring process ensures the highest level of quality. "Out of 15,000 applicants, only 5,000 will get a second interview, and from that, just 50 will get jobs with us," Craig explains. This rigorous selection process guarantees that Cyberbacker clients get the very best. One of the most impactful aspects of Cyberbacker is its global reach. Craig points out the significant difference in wages between the U.S. and the Philippines, where the average annual income is just $4,200. By providing jobs that pay well by local standards, Cyberbacker helps raise the standard of living for its employees while offering affordable services to its clients. Despite the rapid rise of artificial intelligence (AI), Craig remains confident in the future of Cyberbacker and similar services. Rather than seeing AI as a threat, he views it as an opportunity. "We’re partnering with AI," he says. "It will do a lot of things, but it still needs a driver. AI still has to be educated." This partnership between human intelligence and AI is something Craig envisions will enhance the value Cyberbacker brings to its clients. His virtual assistants are already leveraging AI for tasks like accounting, marketing, quality assurance, and legal contracts. Cyberbacker has also expanded into franchising, allowing other entrepreneurs to bring the Cyberbacker model to different markets. The company’s franchise model comes with built-in support and resources, ensuring that new franchisees can replicate Cyberbacker’s success while maintaining the company's high standards of service and integrity. Beyond the numbers and growth, Craig Goodliffe is passionate about the human side of his business. He believes in providing opportunities for personal and professional development for his employees. Cyberbacker offers healthcare, profit-sharing, and even loans to help employees grow and improve their lives. As the demand for remote work continues to rise in a post-pandemic world, Cyberbacker is poised to lead the way, offering world-class support services to businesses and life-changing opportunities for virtual assistants across the globe. Craig’s vision for the future remains optimistic, even in an AI-driven world. "AI will help us, but it won’t replace the human touch," he emphasizes. For Craig Goodliffe, Cyberbacker isn’t just a business; it’s a movement that’s redefining what’s possible in the world of remote work. His innovative approach is not only helping businesses grow but is also transforming lives—one "backer" at a time. Would you like to learn more about the demand for remote careers and the business benefits of virtual assistants? An expert interview with Craig Goodliffe, a seasoned business leader and coach, could provide valuable insights into this ever-evolving landscape. - Nick Padlo's Journey From Veteran of Combat to Compassionate Recovery
By Robert White, Editor-In-Chief Nick Padlo, a native of Jacksonville, Florida, has spent his life walking diverse paths—from military service in Afghanistan and Iraq to leading a successful business, and now, guiding others through the darkness of substance use and mental health disorders. Nick's story is one of perseverance, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to helping others find their way back to a life of purpose and fulfillment. As the founder of Sophros Recovery , he draws on his experiences to offer a unique approach to addiction treatment that prioritizes empathy, connection, and holistic healing. Nick’s background is as compelling as it is diverse. He attended the United States Military Academy (West Point), where he served as the Chairman of the Honor Committee, a prestigious role that prepared him for the high-stakes challenges he would later face. After graduating, he served in the U.S. Army for five years, spending 27 months in combat between Afghanistan and Iraq. His service earned him accolades, including the Bronze Star and Combat Action Badge, but it also left him grappling with the invisible wounds of war—depression, anxiety, and substance use disorder. Following his military service, Nick pursued a business degree from Stanford University and became the CEO of a rapidly growing company. Despite professional success, he struggled internally, turning to alcohol and drugs to cope with his mental health challenges. It was only after seeking treatment that Nick found his true calling: to help others navigate their own struggles with substance use and mental health disorders. This led him to launch Sophros Recovery , an addiction recovery center that offers outpatient services and a compassionate, holistic approach to healing. “I launched a business that was doing well, but I wasn’t,” Nick shares candidly. “I was dealing with alcohol and drugs, using these things to work on my depression and mental health.” His personal battle and eventual recovery inspired him to create a space where others could seek help. “I knew that my fellow soldiers and others would need these services, so I launched Sophros Recovery.” Based in Jacksonville, Sophros Recovery provides partial hospitalization and outpatient treatment, with an emphasis on giving clients the tools they need to overcome life’s challenges without succumbing to vices. Nick explains, “Our clients work with us but do not live here. What we learn here is how to recover when we do have the option to make bad choices.” A key aspect of Sophros Recovery’s philosophy is that recovery is not just about abstaining from harmful substances but about building a comprehensive toolkit for life. “We offer the full tool kit, not just one that focuses on a single issue,” Nick says. This holistic approach includes individual and group therapy, medical care, and case management to address all aspects of a client’s life, from physical health to job support. “If we are unemployed and homeless, it’s hard to stay sober,” Nick notes, emphasizing the importance of addressing the broader challenges that can undermine recovery efforts. Nick’s dedication to veterans is particularly close to his heart. “I have a big heart for veterans, and I’ve lost more veterans to suicide than I have from war actions,” he says, underscoring the urgent need for mental health support for those who have served. He aims to connect with organizations, non-profits, and the VA to build trust and ensure veterans feel comfortable seeking help at Sophros Recovery. As Sophros Recovery continues to grow, Nick remains focused on expanding access to care. The center recently opened a second location in Tampa Bay and plans to launch a virtual treatment center to reach even more individuals in need. However, Nick is clear that growth will not come at the expense of the center’s core values. “The challenge with this kind of treatment is that you can have the best processes and philosophies, but if you don’t have the right culture, people, empathy, and care, it won’t help people.” Nick’s journey from military service to entrepreneurship and now to compassionate care provider is a testament to his resilience and desire to make a meaningful impact on others' lives. His message is clear: “Everyone can find their way back, regain their lives, and live a life free of suffering.” At Sophros Recovery, Nick and his team are making that a reality for countless individuals across North Florida. You can also watch Nick’s TEDx talk, where he shares more about his journey and the importance of mental health awareness, here .

We have seen her playing the psychologist of David Bisbal, one of the biggest singers in Spain and Latin America, racing cars against Snoop Dogg, playing a soldier in the commercial of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s video game Mobile Strike, and lately, she was one of the leads in the series Crypto Game. What was the hardest part about getting where you are today? It's all hard! Moving to a country where you don't know anyone, you're not perfectly fluent in the language, you´re unfamiliar with the industry, the culture, and the basics of getting through the day. When I first started auditioning, I couldn't even get the words out of my mouth properly and that also made me really nervous. Eventually you learn, and when you learn you stop being nervous and start getting bold. What actors inspire you? Many, especially Penelope Cruz, Sofia Vergara, Antonio Banderas... Hispanic, all with accents, whose talent and hard work made them impossible to ignore or classify as “just for the Latin market.” They´ve opened new doors as crossover talents who´ve broken out of the small boxes Hollywood´s Latin actors used to be locked in. What is your favorite season and why? Summer! I love the good weather, the beach, being outdoors, and wearing light clothes. What is your definition of the word, Beauty? To me there’s nothing more beautiful than what is natural. Also, a good attitude is the most beautiful thing. What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine you shall like to share? I started to dance when I started to walk. Dancing is something I'll always do for sure. I also walk a lot. If I have time I walk for 3 hours in a row. It makes me feel so good and relaxed. In the weekends I play beach volleyball, it became one of my favorite hobbies! Apart from that, I love being outdoors either riding my bike along the beach, hiking, jumping waves on the beach, and sometimes I take classes at the gym with a Spanish friend I actually met at the gym and her name is Silvia too. - SILVER, Best Music (Original Score) Winner in Several International Film Festivals
By Robert White, Editor-In-Chief SILVER is an awarded Mexican DJ and Music Producer with more than 9 years of experience in Techno and House Music. He is also Founder-CEO of the reputable underground artists collective in Mexico called SessionsMx. Recently he just became the 2019 Mixmag Lab Opener Contest winner where he had the opportunity to play at the Mixmag HQ for their International live streaming. He is also the winner of the Independent Horror Movie Awards, Cult Critic Film Awards, and Los Angeles Film Awards among several other nominations, for the original music score he produced for Crypto Game . During his musical trajectory, he has played and collaborated in some of the most famous Nightclubs and International Music Festivals such as the Natural Experience Festival in Puerto Vallarta (MX), Bar Santo Tomas in Guadalajara (MX), Rounders Festival in Guadalajara (MX), among others. You’re having a very successful career, your background as a multi-award winning Music Producer and DJ adds an engaging visual and physical dimension to your tracks that we don’t really get the opportunity to see a lot of these days. What is the difference between composing and producing? When I first got into production, I had no idea what to do. I didn’t know what I was supposed to learn or what I should focus my time on. That's why I decided to study “Music Production and Mastering”. Electronic music production differs from traditional music composition and production in many ways. Music production provides a different career path from music composition and scoring. Being a music producer involves handling technical aspects of creating sounds or a soundtrack for different visual media, such as movies or video games . Being a music composer involves creating songs, themes, or scores used in media, such as the background music in mobile apps, animation, films, and TV shows. A core element of music scoring and composition is having sharp listening skills. One might say that composers cover the more creative side of music for visual media, while music producers cover the more technical side of it. You’d been nominated a couple of times before your first Best Original Score Award. What were the thoughts that crossed your mind the moment you were called for the first score award? What does it mean to be a winning hitmaker having won several awards for your work in “Crypto Game”? I am very proud of my work in “Crypto Game” and excited about all the awards and nominations. It was very special for me because it was my first time scoring and I took the opportunity to experiment with new sounds. The important thing to keep in mind is the certainty that you will make it, and that you will make whatever sacrifice you need to make in order to achieve your goals. Dream big but make your dreams about the music, not about the money or luxury. Once you’re on this path for the right reason, the rest will follow. The key thing is to remain patient, to keep grinding and to realize that your “big break” may not come soon, but will come if you put in the hard work necessary to make it happen. Don’t focus on when you will become successful, rather focus on how to become successful and achieve that goal by working daily on it. How did you get to “Crypto Game” and what was the approach you gave to the music? When do you prefer to start collaborating on a project? It was by coincidence. I met the actress Amor Sanchez and she recommended me to the Producers, they listened to my music and the rest is history. Surrounding yourself with successful and talented people is a key way of finding inspiration and constantly learning from those who have walked the very same path that is now ahead of you. Successful people surround themselves with successful people. The creative process of scoring a movie is something that can be very long or very short. You can start at the very beginning or be on board right at the end, in the last few weeks. Some people treat music as post-production but they shouldn’t, it should be part of the creative process because it can alter the story completely. You have different characters, situations, and feelings that really need to be pointed out through your music. How do you feel about changing from techno music to film? Do you find a very big difference working for them? What has been the biggest surprise so far about making music for film? I am very open-minded, and having all those skills to use them in the movies, gave me a broad range of options. There has been a long history of film flirtation with electronic sounds, and from a dance music perspective some of the most interesting stories are those of electronic music artists who have scored films. The use of electronic music in film is nothing new and can be traced back over a century. For electronic music producers who have created film soundtracks the narrative is often quite different from their purely musical work. Film scoring involves collaboration to form a collective representation of a concept that can capture the imagination of an audience with both their eyes and ears. Let’s finish with one last question. You’re a young musician, but you already have a successful career, and you’re getting bigger and bigger. But there are a lot of young musicians looking to start their careers and trying to get noticed. So, what advice would you give them from your experience? Perseverance, constancy, commitment and patience. A successful music artist is constantly educating himself on the latest hardware options, plug-ins and software solutions that are applicable to his productions. While it is not necessary to learn every piece of equipment on the market there is still constant education needed to improve oneself and learn new techniques to use in the studio. Further, a professional musician wears many hats these days. Often times a producer might also be a DJ, a promoter, his own manager, his own booking agent, etc and as you begin to get busier with more gigs it’s important to learn how to wear each of these hats well. https://www.facebook.com/silver.sessionsmxmusic/ https://soundcloud.com/silver-sessionsmxmusic https://www.instagram.com/silver_sessionsmxmusic/ https://www.imdb.com/name/nm10683212/ PR Agency: International Reputation PR. - Estanis Figueroa: "Creating Careers and Discovering Talent Motivates me to Keep Working"
By Robert White, Editor-In-Chief Estanis Figueroa is a well-known music executive creative and an MTV award winner. He worked as a label manager for the iconic brand PACHA, for which he produced 8 albums and 2 DVDs with the world's best DJs and house labels. Also, he organized launch parties in cities like Manila, Zurich, and London. Estanis says, “Working for such a huge iconic brand was a learning trip I’ll never forget.” Figueroa recorded his first EP (as a drummer) at age 17 for the band ASH, that was not signed to PDI Records only because the band was too young and neither member had done the (at the time) mandatory military service in Spain. Besides being the drummer for the band, he also acted as their manager and his work was able to land the young act in reputed magazines like Heavy Rock or RIP and perform in local High Schools (1990 /1991). He studied "Recording Engineering and Album Production" in Los Angeles (1992 / 1993) and worked as an assistant 2nd engineer for Red Zone Studios in Burbank, where Earth Wind & Fire, Kenny G and L.A Guns were regular recording Artists. (1993) Studied "Music Business Certificate Program" at UCLA and by 1995 was already being mentioned and credited in albums by awarded Artists like Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Babsónicos or 2 Minutos. He worked for a top Latin Artist agency and grabbed experience as an Artist Manager, Record executive producer and concert promoter. With his fast learning and "go-get'em" attitude, by 1996 he was organizing his own tours and shows from Latin bands like Los Auténticos Decadentes, Todos Tus Muertos at Hollywood legendary clubs like the Troubadour in West Hollywood. Since 1998 and for a couple of years, he was managing, signing and promoting the Mexican Artist TITAN. Under his belt and direction and at age 24, Estanis Figueroa was touring the world as opening act for multi-platinum artist Moby, licensing their songs to commercials in Japan, including their tracks in Oscar nominated movies like "Amores Perros" (Iñarritu) and getting six figure contracts with Warner Chappell while taking the European Festival circuit by storm as the first ever Latin electronic band to reach such goals. After the world was shaken in Sept 11th, 2001 (not precisely by his 28th birthday on that day) Estanis Figueroa decided to re-invent himself due to the obligated immobilized career that his band TITAN had suffered from the closing of their USA label, Virgin Records America. It was then when he decided to fly to the island of Ibiza, dance club capital of the world. During his stay at the island he also wanted to go back to his origins of Latin electronic music, and started an FM Radio show called Electronic Latin Freaks (elf) although for marketing reasons was later changed to Electronic Latin Beats (elb) This was done under one of his alter ego's Larry Capolla. This Radio show lasted 8 years, was broadcasted at 3 different radio stations in Spain and the US. Out of this pioneering crusade for Latin electronic music, Estanis Figueroa was also able to produce another album under the same name (elf) through Spain's top leading indie label, Subterfuge Records by 2004. When he got tired of the island's hedonism and saturated clubbing culture, Estanis Figueroa fled back to Barcelona where he kept producing radio shows, booking artists like The Pinker Tones and doing interviews for publications like The Herald Tribune (New York), El Pais (Madrid) or TRAX Magazine (Barcelona). Soon enough while placing music on a major film named GOAL 2 (directed by his friend Jaume Collet-Serra) he decided to get back to his beloved L.A and in 2007 he flew back to California to keep working for his filmmaker friend Jaume Collet-Serra (Orphan, The Shallows, Non-Stop, The Commuter, House of Wax). It was here where he jumped to a wonderful opportunity and created, co-wrote and hosted a TV Program named "Sonidos De Ciudad" for Discovery Channel (Pilot submitted on 2008). This process gave him a very close insight of what it was like to work for TV and definitely made a great impression on him as he was called to co-write in Spain another TV show named "Rock The Kitchen" but unfortunately was never released. During his 3 year stay in Los Angeles Estanis Figueroa was also able to compose, record and produce another album for his own band, this time called LA HOSTIA. The album was recorded at the Studios of Latin Grammy winner Randy Ebright from the multi-platinum selling band Molotov. He played a few shows in California and released the album under another one of his alter egos Dani Otero. Recession in California in 2009 ... so back to Spain it was. Estanis Figueroa landed in Madrid and started the Madrid office of Live Nation Spain (the world's biggest concert promoter agency) as the right-hand man of the President, Robert Grima. Within the first year back in Spain, Estanis Figueroa was already a recognized and well respected name in the Spanish capital music business circuit. Not only he was working with/for the Spanish tours of artists like U2, Madonna, Coldplay, Lady Gaga, Rhianna, etc. but he also created a National artist department and his first signing was The Zombie Kids. At that time, the artist was performing at small clubs and had no original music released. By the time Estanis ended his management with them (2012) he had booked the band in every possible European festival, signed them to a major label (Universal Music), placed their music in films and commercials in Mexico and Spain, and overall make them the hottest artist in the country winning an MTV European Music Award. By 2014 Estanis felt like it was time to grow in a different direction and left the company to work as a Freelance Entertainment sniper (aka est4nis), as he likes to define himself nowadays. In the last 5 years, the accomplishments for him have grown even more dramatically. Estanis has since then, booked several important music festivals, negotiated the likes of John Fogerty, Iggy Pop or Chris Issack. He has curated international artists like Jorja Smith, Franz Ferdinand or Simple Minds for a primetime National TV Show in Spain (La Hora Musa) and worked on the broadcast of legendary artists like The Smashing Pumpkins, Queens of The StOne Age or The Cure for Spanish biggest cultural national TV channel "La2". She works out almost every day, and to vary her routine; in addition to normal resistance and weight training, she plays basketball, tennis, swims, boxes, and dances. Follow her on Instagram @Radmilalolly to keep up with her work and life! When did you start singing? When I was growing up, I always heard my mother singing songs she composed herself around the house, which sparked my own interest in music. However, her style of voice and mine were very different, and I wasn’t comfortable to just improvise like she was. That led me to begin my formal vocal training at age 14. What does it mean for you to be on the top of the Billboard Dance Chart? One day you hear about other singers on it, and now I'm there; it's definitely an out of body experience Where and when was your first concert? My first performance was a private recital in London when I was 16 years old. That was my first experience performing for an audience, and it was very difficult for me to get up on stage because I was so worried about everything that could go wrong, everything from “what if I forget the words to the song?” to “What if I slip and fall on my face in front of everyone?”. Now I understand that there’s so many aspects to a live performance that you have absolutely no control over, so there is no point in worrying about them. All you can do is be as personally prepared as possible, and go up on stage and enjoy yourself. The real skill to performing is making it past any mishaps without the audience even noticing! What fashion advice would you give to women? I would like to tell women to not be afraid to be unique and express themselves through their clothing. Clothing is like a language, it gives you an opportunity to connect with people who find what you’re wearing is interesting, or have similar style and interests to you. At the end of the day, people will always be judging us no matter what we do or wear, so you should wear something that shows who you are truthfully. If I had only $100, and walked into Forever 21, I wouldn’t just buy basic items to mix and match; I would buy items that catch my eye and are unique, that show who I am as a person. What celebrity would you like seeing wearing your clothes? The type of person I envision wearing my clothing is somebody who is a leader, who is bold, and who appreciates fashion as an art form. I love dressing artists of all kinds, including musicians, visual artists, and actors. I am especially interested in costume design for movies, and would love to do more work with that. You are writing a novel. What is it about? The biggest takeaway from my book is that what happens to us as children can affect us for the rest of our lives. We can be scarred on the outside, but we can also be scarred on the inside. The novel is based upon the lives of four main characters with very different backgrounds; all of their storylines eventually intertwine and converge by the end of the book. The book shows how seemingly small and insignificant actions can change the course of your life.
