- Ana Kiri Releases Her New Music Video "I Still Remember"
Singer Ana Kiri has released her new single and music video “I Still Remember” “I Still Remember” music video was produced by the Black Flamingo Films and directed by recognized director Jarop who has worked with well-known artists such as Akon, Farruko & Mafio, Fat Joe, Dj Khaled, Solano, Landis, and many more. This single defines the direction where Ana wanted to go in her music career - good quality house EDM. Ana expressed her excitement to be producing the type of music she really wanted to make. In this music video, Ana and the team were looking to create a simple but powerful piece that captivates the audience with the beauty of its imaginary. Inspired by the magic and freedom of fashion film and contemporary dance they wanted to portrait the fight of a woman with her inner demons. Ana Kiri was born in Ukraine and is based in Miami. Since she moved to the U.S. she has been working non-stop in big projects. Her previous single and music video “Feel My Love” an upbeat tropical house-tinged electro-pop song, had great success among Ana’s fans. You can enjoy her music video music video here: https://youtu.be/JU-3-_4ea3M In November 8th Ana Kiri released her EP ‘Dreaming’, which consists of five tracks and is a collection of songs from her past, as Ana puts it herself. Being chill electro-pop, this EP is softer, melodic and dreamy. “‘Dreaming’ has all the first songs I wrote a few years back. That’s why it has a bit of that retro chill feel to it. I was going through a very difficult period in my life, I lost a very important person to my heart and soul. That’s when I turned to music again. I needed to let some feelings out, because it was just too much to keep them on the inside. ‘Sugar in Clouds’ is the first song written for this EP. I wrote everything else around it. I hope you enjoy your journey into my music.” Says Ana. When she was 6, she started attending music school. “My mother really wanted me to get the proper princess education, which I did :)” Says Ana. “Besides school, mandatory were music school, dance school and art school. Fairly to say, I didn’t really have much free time back then”. She played piano for 7 years growing up. Classical music and classical education - that was the way to do it. Her heart wasn’t there for playing and learning classical pieces, but was there for our vocal lessons and music composing. Kiri talks about her first time playing ukulele, which now she masters. “I also play ukulele. Funny story. I picked it up only when me and my girlfriend went to Hawaii for vacation. It was actually my friend who brought the ukulele along as a joke, cause it’s the standard Hawaiian experience package:) But I’ve decided to take the most out of it and challenged myself to learn 10 songs, one for each day we were on the island. It was challenging but I’m glad I did it. Again, as a person, who suffers a lot with anxiety and panic attacks, I must say that ukulele is definitely a great thing. You can always take it anywhere - it is very small and light, and it is very convenient for concentration and controlling”. Now it has been around three years that she plays it very frequently. She loves learning popular songs and doing ukulele versions of them. What made you decide to pursue music? I always loved music. However, it has been years since I finished classic music school and I’m getting back to music only now. When I was, little and practicing piano pieces by Mozart and Beethoven for school, I couldn’t appreciate music. All I wanted was to go back to my dance classes, or school friends and have fun. I’ve concentrated more on dancing, then on acting. It wasn’t until I moved to Miami that I got to know electronic music and fell in love with it. And all the possibilities EDM offers to you. Not only as a performer, but as a producer as well. Why did you switch modelling to singing or are you doing both? My music to me isn’t about my singing. My music to me is about music itself. It’s about the melody, the arrangement, the instruments I choose. It’s about the story the songs tells. With my first single “Feel my love” I was going for the summer upbeat tropical house vibe, with carefree and kind message. With my recent release “I still remember” I wanted to go more into deep house and concentrated on the base, kick and the drop. Here I had a possibility to work on an amazing music video with Miami based Black Flamingo Films. Here we portrayed the fight of a woman with her inner demons. What I’m proud the most is when I play my song to someone, and when they actually feel that feeling I wanted to convey – that’s what I love! I’m doing everything at the same time - music, dancing, acting, painting. I find that switching from one thing to another also helps me advance while giving me time to rest doing something else, and also get a perspective. What is your next project? My new single “Word of Mouth” is coming out on January 26 and I’m very excited about this one! I worked together with the talented Patrick J Que Smith who wrote “Best thing I Never had” for Beyonce, “Radar” for Britney Spears, “Baby I’ for Ariana Grande and many many more. This song is so much fun and I can’t wait for you to hear it. I worked together with very talented Lucas Villemur on the production and we came out with a super cure and groovy pop funk sound. Are you planning on working on a full album? Releasing my first EP “Dreaming” was a big project. Mainly because any album is like a story on its own, like a book with many chapters. And you need to see the whole picture. It has been so much fun for me working on singles because I can try totally different thing with each new track. Definitely down the road I see myself working on an album, but at this point I think I’m still finding my sound, still a lot of things i need and want to learn… It is definitely a journey. And I’m super excited that I started it! Do you listen to music other than electronic music? Of course! I love Mumford & Sons, Florence + the machine, Vance Joy, Norah Jones… and many other. I pretty much love all music and can find beauty in it all. We love your TIktok and Instagram! Look like you’re putting a lot of time and effort into your shuffle dance videos. Does it take a lot of your time? Actually, the idea of doing music came out from my shuffle dance videos. One day I thought how cool would it be to dance to my own music. So, I guess one of the main goals I want to achieve with my music - is to make people move. Move and dance! Now I actually can shuffle dance to my own songs and it has been a lot of fun.

- Teresa Haering Portoles creates a special and meaningful music video during the Coronavirus lockdown
The collaborative music video ‘Si Tuviera un Silencio’ (‘If I Had a Silence’ in English) directed and starred by Teresa Haering from Madrid, and involving people from all over the world, shows the positive side of confinement. The artist Teresa Haering Portoles, from Madrid with Swiss origins, has directed her music video with people related to cinema like Silvia Kal in Hollywood, the director of Swim by Judit in London or Marafiki Community in Kenya. After many days at home, not everything is negative when an artist shows her most creative side. Teresa Haering Portoles decided to create a different music video of her own song "Si tuviera un silencio", in which she reflects the connection between several people around the world, showing or reproducing the lyrics of the single and connecting it to the present moment. The music video is presented by actress Silvia Kal, who we have seeing in music video of Bisbal, Snoop Dogg and Ed Sheeran, or even in Hollywood movies. The video also features multiple people related to art and culture: designer Judit Garcia of the Swim by Judit brand, the director of From Madrid to Hollywood, Santiago Pigmalión or journalist Soledad Arroyo. The music video ends with the applause of members of the Marafiki community in Kenya, who are developing an exceptional collaborative work in Africa. There is even a message filmed from the United Arab Emirates with part of the lyrics of the song. "Through the video of "Si tuviera un silencio" ("If I had a silence"), my intention is to make people feel we are all in this together. I had been thinking for several days about what I could do to encourage my followers, family and friends. I organized everything from home, and asked on my Instagram @teresahaering who wanted to participate in my video and also contacted people in my circle. I prepared a script, received videos and gave directions." shares the director, editor and singer-songwriter of the music video, Teresa Haering Portoles. Teresa Haering, who lives in Pozuelo de Alarcon, Madrid, proposed the idea and sent the script to Silvia Kal, who did not hesitate for a second to participate and open the video from her home in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Judit joined the initiative from London by providing a very fun zenith shot with her children. Marta did the same from Kenya with her husband and two children from Marafiki Community, and Susana has even translated the chorus into Arabic from Emirates. In addition, there are several musicians and artists performing scenes, such as journalist Soledad Arroyo, writer Juan Roures and international Starbucks artist Javier Haering. "I wanted to take a positive approach to confinement through the video of my song "Si tuviera un silencio". It’s been a lot of editing and organization. I recorded the song a few months ago at Sondeson studio, but the whole video was edited from home during "Coronatime". It is amazing how I have managed to connect everyone. I am impressed and pleased because I have got something very positive from these hard times", Teresa explains. "My brother Juan has helped me film my own shots and we did it all without a budget, in a very authentic way. That is the Art of it. I want to reflect the present moment, the feeling of not being able to touch each other or saying things to each other close. "Si tuviera un silencio" shows what is happening in houses all over the world. - Amor Sanchez, Best Actress Winner in Several International Film Festivals
Amor Sanchez is a unique actress native of Madrid, Spain. She has appeared in several film, television, and theatre productions. You may have seen her in Crypto Game, Scorpion Girl, Chosen Kin Origins: New Breed and Mexican Gangster , to name just a few. Amor Sanchez’s ability to enter into character and engage with the audience has been recognized by many reputable International Film Festivals with several Best Actress Awards. Amor Sanchez got her Bachelor's Degree in Acting, Theater Arts, Drama and Auditioning Techniques at the well respected Promenade Playhouse in Santa Monica. When did you first know you wanted to become an actor? I always knew I wanted to be an actress. I remember watching TV and thinking “ they look they are having fun, I want to do that”. Little I knew all the work you have to put to do it! I took some acting and dancing classes, performed in different school plays, but it wasn’t until College that I decided to do it full time. I auditioned to join the prestigious Acting School NIC in Madrid and got accepted, where I had the opportunity to star in several Theatre Plays and Student Films. I was working as reporter for a local Spanish TV station when one day, I saw an ad about acting classes in California, is when I decided enroll in UCLA and came to Los Angeles for the first time. Who is your role model or ideal in acting industry? To me, a hero is someone who inspires you. A role model is someone you want to be. They can be the same person, but often, they're not. I admire women that are capable to combine career and family because is not easy. Some even have time to participate in humanitarian causes. My role models are Angelina Jolie and Meryl Streep. They are strong, sharp, classy, confident, badass women that never give up against adversity. Female characters in film and TV motivate women to be more ambitious, more successful, and have even given them the courage to break out of abusive relationships. I wished I had seen more female role models in film growing up. Is there a particular role that got away? A role you really wanted? Is not really a role that got away, but I would love to have been part of my favorite movie Back to The Future . I wish they shoot more parts, but I’ve heard they are not planning to. That’s what I like about Crypto Game and made me take the role, you can tell how it is influenced by the 80s-90s Sci-Fi movies like Blade Runner and Cube . I love 80s movies, another movies I really liked to have been part of are Alien and Terminator series. Now that they are shooting more parts of Terminator , maybe I can get a role! I also love Horror movies, some audience doesn’t give good ratings to horror but I disagree because some have wonderful scripts with twist endings and I like that, I like being surprised like the Scream series. Comedy is another genre that is not very valued by audience but in my opinion, all genres could have quality acting if the script is good. Even Dramas can bore you if they have a bad script. What was your favorite part of filming Crypto Game? I love playing strong, smart, badass women. I love action movies and kicking butts. That’s why I took the roles in Scorpion Girl and Crypto Game . Crypto Game is a survival game with twist ending where a group of females wake up trapped in the strange game. They don’t know why or how they got there but they must find out in order to try to scape. The role I play, Raven is the lead of the group. I had the opportunity to reunite with some cast and crew that I worked with before, it helped because we felt like family. If you’re lucky enough to get a good team, the filmmaking process is much easier and enjoyable. I am very proud and happy with all the nominations we are getting, hard work is paying off! I can’t wait to start shooting the next episodes. Is it true the saying “if you set your mind to it you can do it”? Believe in yourself, you can achieve anything that you set your mind to. The only limits are those that you impose upon yourself. Identify what you truly want and how you truly want to live your life, and take action. Start to create the life of your dreams. Start small, dream big and don’t ever give up. The time is now to go after what you truly want, change your mentality and your life will start to change. We do not see the world as it is, but as we are. When you change for the better then everything around you will change for the better. Your outer world is a reflection of your inner world. If you don’t believe that you can become successful then you will not take any action, and you will just continue doing the same things day after day, and you will never chase after your dreams. Success is not a sprint, it a marathon and quitting is not in my vocabulary. PR Agency: International Reputation PR. IG @internationalreputationpr
