- Brain HIIT
Many of us are still working through the grief cycle at the temporary closure of our gyms due to Covid. They still haven’t opened in Los Angeles. It’s been like that since March 2020. Despite many months of half-hearted sit-ups in-front of the Telly (under the shadow and torment of the biscuit barrel) I find myself 4kgs heavier today than I was before the various lockdowns. I was encouraged to get a TRX (and use it twice a week). I’m also playing tennis and going out running, but as much as I try to keep on top of my exercise, the nightime boredom combined with living a more sedentary life, sprinkled with a bit of loneliness has led to a “thicker” waist, as they say in Los Angeles. It’s all sugar and it’s all around my belly, (not the most ideal place on a 40-something-year-old-man) and I think, surely, it can’t just be me, but then I see all the pictures of the hot bod’s on Instagram and wonder if those people exist in the same universe as me? I’m really disciplined but I’ve been finding it really challenging to keep the weight off, but here’s the thing - I’m OK with it. This is because it’s not at the top, top, top of my priorities right now: my Mind Health is. Multiple Lockdowns, let-downs, tiers, tears and confusion has left many humans like me with a realisation that working out your mind is just as important (or even more so) than maintaining a six pack right now (those with an unsatiable thirst for fame, and the need for validation from strangers and for the record might still be posting pics of their bare torso’s right now, may disagree – but then, that kind of makes my point). Get your mind in shape with these supersets for the brain: 1) Positive Affirmations & Meditation First thing I do in the morning is meditate. I sit up in bed or do it in a chair, my preference is Transcendental Meditation because it has been proven to reduce anxiety and you can do it anywhere. Ideally you practise it twice a day but once is enough if you can’t find the time. The second thing I do in the morning is to read out aloud my positive affirmations to myself. You can make one yourself or find great examples on YouTube. It’s only 10 mins and when I can I will ideally do them to myself in the mirror. I get up early to do this. It's only 30 mins before my day begins. Sometimes I might skip the meditation but always do my best to get one or both in. It sets me up to deal with the day ahead. 2) Reading After meditation, I read for about 15 mins from personal development books. This is part of creating a calm equilibrium but also, it’s educating me to be better. Early in the morning (before everyone else is up) is usually the best time for me. Everybody knows that leaders are “readers” and the more you learn the more you earn. This 15 mins (or 10 pages) is essential. If I skip it in the morning, I will do it in the bathroom later… (we don’t need to go into too much detail here) 3) Take a break & ration the News & Social Media I do like to understand what’s going on I the news but let’s be honest it’s not the most positive and inspiring right now. I will switch the news on in the evening to get what I need and only usually hang around for the headlines. When I’m working from home, I replace the radio (which I sometimes have on in the background) with Binaural Beats. Binaural Beats is music composed at a certain frequency which can encourage creativity, inspiration and calm etc I am my own person and don't need the validation of strangers to make me feel good so the dependency on “likes” doesn't affect me but It's the comparison element I find most damaging. I can easily make myself feel less than so therefore I don't need to have my finger stapled to Twitter to experience FOMO or a fat free body. I ration my social media. I go on it maybe a couple times per day and don't spend more than 15-30 mins on it. If I’m using it for business then, it may be more like an hour – but I’m not constantly scrolling and doing reels to take my head out of the game. 4) Mindfulness Stop multi-tasking and be in the moment. Do one thing at a time and giving it your full focus will help you maintain your calm. If you’re throwing your lunch down your neck, watching TV and scrolling through the internet – what’s the quality of your experience of life like? I mean, you won’t even taste or savour your food...slow down, chew much and take it easy… 5) Gratitude list Before you go to bed, write down 5 things you’re grateful for. Have a list next to your bed. It really makes a difference. If you are feeling confident and want to pass it forward you can also text people who you’re grateful for too. This first mental step of appreciation is excellent for your mind health. We spend so much time trying to obtain what we don't have, (like the six pack) it’s often a good idea to be grateful for what we do. Thank you, Mr Cadbury. I am grateful for you.
- How To Get Out Of The Lockdown Funk
With the promise of the end of lockdowns and restrictions being dangled in front of us like a carrot, many people are chomping at the bit to be let out. But, you’d be forgiven if you weren’t feeling quite as excited as many, and after the year we’ve had, it’s perfectly normal to feel slightly apprehensive about life returning to normal... You baked banana bread; you’ve grown your hair - you’ve grown a beard!! You’re now fluent in French, you can play the harpsichord, you’ve been for 995 walks and the cat was decoupaged in October. You reconstituted your old knicker elastics into a resistance exercise workout contraption (and hooked them to the back of the bedroom door), you’ve meditated, baked more banana bread, shaved your beard, cut your hair and painted the living room pink whilst watching every Netflix that's ever been made. Here are my top tips to help prepare for life after lockdown: MIND HIIT Like the coming of a new season, I think the first thing to appreciate is that you’ve survived thus far and now it feels like (touch wood) everything is getting better. The world feels as if it’s getting safer… it’s even getting lighter in the evenings, the clocks go back, so that's hopeful and is affirmation that brighter, warmer, longer days (with less rain) are ahead. Spring is a time for re-growth, new life, optimism, colour and by focusing on the positive, appreciating how far you’ve come; and, that the end is near (for lockdown) might help you keep going just a while longer!!! If you’re not feeling all that positive about that – something I’ve done to help me is the consistent playing of binaural beats (in the background whilst I work) and recorded affirmations (when I head off to bed), followed by 15-20 min meditation and 10 mins of positive affirmations when I wake up. This is not an immediate fix but playing them consistently over time makes a big difference for me. To help support long term change commit to doing this for 2-3 months. Imagine how you’ll feel when it’s Summer! PROCEED WITH CAUTION We’ve have had the benefit of a much slower pace of life for the last 12 months and whether that’s been hard for you or if you’ve loved it, it was certainly needed for those that burn the candle at both ends. If your instant reaction is to cram your diaries with as much social activity as possible to make up for lost time, my advice would be to proceed with caution and take it slowly. Yes – we all want to see our friends and loved ones as much as possible, but after 12 months of seeing people mainly on Zoom and largely hibernating indoors, this may be overwhelming and leave you wanting to retreat back home sooner than you ever could have imagined. Many people will have developed some level of social anxiety and going from zero to a hundred is never healthy for anyone. Rather than burning out and stressing yourself out by committing to social engagements that you may not feel ready for, try living a little spontaneously and freely to give yourself room to adjust. Make sure you still schedule in that essential ‘me time’ every week and if you feel like skipping the odd brunch or catch up with friends, it is ok to do so! RETURNING TO THE OFFICE AND LARGE SOCIAL GATHERINGS You’ve been safe in the cocoon of your home since lockdown started and haven’t had to worry about someone coughing all over you in the office or brushing past you in a busy bar. Going back to these settings is going to be overwhelming for many of us and again my advice is to proceed with caution. Take bitesize steps towards this, if you know it is likely to cause you some stress and anxiety. If you are anxious about going back to the office, make sure you have an open line of communication with your boss and explain your fears, perhaps you can arrange to come into work and leave early, to avoid being crammed on public transport during busy commute times, or sit at a different desk by a window you can open for fresh air. Above everything, be kind to yourself. If rushing back to life pre-lockdown doesn’t feel right to you, then go at your own pace. Only you know when you are ready for certain situations and it’s important not to let outside pressures get on top of you. GOAL ORIENTATED EXERCISE Many of us aren’t feeling or looking our best at the moment and I don’t know about you, but the thought of putting on a pair of jeans is scaring the life out of me after living in jogging bottoms since March 2020!! My best advice is to start now and gear up to the end of lockdown with 2-3 months of consistency. Whether it’s regular exercise, being more mindful of what you eat, keeping a food diary or buddying up with a friend for accountability, this is a great time to start and get yourself prepped and primed for life on the outside. As the endorphins from the exercise kick in and you start seeing the results you will also feel a lot better about yourself both physically and mentally and this will help you feel ready to take on the world again! BUY AN AVOCADO So many people have had garden envy or even balcony envy during lockdown – being couped up with no-where to go and it’s no surprise that the most sought-after property right now is a detached house with a garden. How fantastic to be able to sit out and enjoy the plants around you, it’s so relaxing – but what if you can’t and are stuck in an apartment!? Answer: bring the outside in and grow your own plant on your windowsill and improve your mood at the same time. Studies have shown how growing plants can help support the reduction of anxiety, stress and really help boost your mood. The avocado is a great plant to grow (from the stone inside the fruit). Firstly eat – which is part of your new healthy eating routine - then, simply spear the stone with a couple of cocktail sticks and then sit the stone in a glass of water, which you will top up every day to just cover the bottom (I’m sure there’s a YouTube video out there to show you). Taking care of the plant is a metaphor for taking care of yourself. It's also a simple and daily reminder to love, nurture and look after ourselves too. What’s wonderful is to see the progress, as the avocado sprouts and starts to grow and how rewarding and mood altering the effects of that can be. I hope these ideas help inspire you to make some positive changes and improve your mood over the next few months. Whatever you’re feeling right now, it’s ok because many of us are feeling the same, just remember to prioritise your health and wellbeing and check in on those who might need help around you too, it could make all the difference.

- How to create habits that actually stick!
We’re already in May and if, like me, you set goals for 2021, I’m wondering how you're doing with them? Are you still working diligently towards them, or have the wheels blown off the wagon already!!? I’m doing OK but I realize that desire and good intentions to achieve might not be enough, I might need more than just willpower to succeed, especially whilst we’re on this crazy Coronacoaster! It’s become all too easy to get distracted today and stray from the habits we need to nurture in order to achieve what we want most in life. Here are some tips to create habits that will help you get closer to your goals. What’s a habit? A habit’s an automatic behavior or ritual that’s been repeated over and over again in the same environment until it becomes a subconscious part of our being. Habits are so powerful because they’ve often become so engrained in our psyche that we’re no longer aware of them anymore. You’ve done (whatever it is) so many times that your conscious doesn't have to pay much attention to it anymore, so, your mind can be off at the races whilst you subconsciously perform the task you have to do at hand. Have you ever driven somewhere and wondered how the hell you got there because you were totally lost in your thoughts; OR simply locking your front door – how many times have you had to go back and check because you weren’t quite “ there ” when you locked it, but when you checked it you had locked it, none-the-less… These are habits. The repetition creates a mental association between the situation (a “cue”) and an action (the “behavior”) which means that when the cue faces the behavior, it’s performed automatically. Automation has a number of elements, one of which is lack of thought. Which is great – if the habits still of benefit to you. How do you form a habit? It was widely held that it took roughly 21 days to form a new habit or break an old one. The belief stemmed from the plastic surgeon Maxwell Malts 1960’s book, “Psycho Cybernetics”. He noticed anecdotally that it took about 21 days for patients to get used to their new faces after plastic surgery! If that’s also your belief, then you’re about to have a revelation because it was disproved by University College London, some years ago. The time it takes to break a new habit isn’t as clear cut as 21 days. The UCL Researchers examined the new habits of 96 people over the space of 12 weeks and found that the average time it took for a new habit to stick was actually 66 days not 21. However, individual times varied from 18 days to 254 days, so, if you want to develop a new behavior, for the most part it seems it would take at least two months!!! Oops. Time to re-set the goals… This at least offers a degree of explanation as to why many of us fail to accomplish our plans – we simply don’t give it enough time to establish our new habit To create a new habit, you’re going to need to repeat the behavior in the same situation. It’s important that something about the setting where you perform the “behavior” is consistent so that it can “cue” the “behavior”. Consistency is key. If you choose a context cue, for your habit (for example doing it after lunch), it doesn’t seem to matter if you eat lunch at different times in the day. As long as you perform your habit after lunch, consistently. Obstacles that may stand in your way… Over and above not giving it enough time, there are other reasons why we quit goals or our new resolutions. Culprit number one could be Perfectionism, it’s an adversary that thrives in us thanks to a past critic in our life (that could be you, now.) or, from the many social media platforms that invite comparison in from the perfectly curated posts that have us thinking less of ourselves and will have us heading towards the cookie jar every time – Perfectionism says, “if I can’t do it perfectly, there’s no point doing it at all” or, if you’ve already undertaken the task and you make a mistake, or a wheel has fallen off your wagon the negative thinking can be “I’ve failed. I can’t do this, so I’ll quit…” This subconscious self-defeating thinking will hold you back every time until you create a new habit and way of thinking to overcome it. Control your Environment After I had spoken about missing home, the same friend who told me about the 60/40 principal also bought me a basket of British confectionary for my Christmas. I was only 15 days into my “no chocolate” in December goal - the Curly Wurlies never made it to the end of the street. The “cue” was the chocolate, and the “behavior” was to eat it. LOL Oh, well - it was a gift, and I was brought up beautifully!! LOL I should have said “begone”, but I didn't even though I was motivated to my goal!! Control your environment and remove the triggers than may put you off course until your new habit is set. I know I can’t have anything “sugary” in my home when I’m doing a 30-day health kick – it triggers me too much. The thing is one habit doesn't automatically replace the other, the old habits still exist; the new habits just have to become stronger influences on your behavior and that requires time and effort. In this instance, with chocolate. In order to help with my new habit, I control my environment by not having it in my house. Give yourself a break Isn’t life challenging enough without beating up on yourself? Make the decision to be a little bit gentler and consider there might be another way to treat yourself. When the bar is so high, inevitably it’s going to be knocked over – but you don't have to quit. Before I did the work on myself, I was the “all or nothing” type and firmly believed in the 80-20 rule. I had to be the 20% every day and in everything I did… (that's a recipe for a season ticket to The Priory – I can tell you!!) What I understand now is that it's better to do something consistently, even if it’s done badly. It’s better to start than not at all and you don’t have to be the best at it when you do. Throw in consistency and day-by-day you’ll get better and better. You’ll see improvement and your self-esteem will rise. You’ll find that you don't have to start by looking like the Michelangelo’s “David”, you can accept starting as the lump of marble and then simply chipping away each day and the building upon that each “until” will be enough. It’s OK if you miss a day but if your consistently inconsistent, you’re unlikely to succeed regardless of your abilities. My friend literally changed my life when she said, “why don't you be the 50-40 rule consistently for a change. Your results could be better, and your anxiety might be a lot less”. They are. So, now, (depending on what I’m learning or focused on achieving) I factor in more time with less demand and pressure on myself to have to be the “A” type all the time and in all areas of my life. The main thing to remember is, it can take much longer than you think to form a new or break an old habit and so therefore it is important to persevere with your new resolution and stick with it “until”. In closing. If you want to form a new habit you should specify clearly what you will do, in what situation you’ll do it in and then make the effort to do it consistently over time. As you continue to practice it, it will start to happen more and more easily and what’s more, require less effort. You’ll start seeing changes, achieve more and have better results with your goals, which will ultimately affect your choices and that has to be a good thing. So, there you have it, habits!
- Exploring the Dark and Mysterious Fairy Tale of "BA" An Interview with Writer and Director Benjamin Wong
By Robert White, Editor-In-Chief In the realm of cinema, storytelling often takes us on unexpected journeys, blending genres and themes to create unique narratives that resonate deeply with audiences. One such journey is encapsulated in the heartfelt fantasy thriller film "BA," brought to life by the vision of writer and director Benjamin Wong. In an exclusive interview, Wong sheds light on the origins of the film, its challenges, and the balance between fantasy, thriller, and heartfelt storytelling. The genesis of "BA" lies in Wong's personal experiences as a new father, navigating the complexities of parenthood, work, and family. "It really comes from being a fan of genre, and it was written from my own experience of being a new dad," Wong explains. "Just not knowing how to navigate being a parent, working, and spending time with family." Drawing inspiration from the darker, more mysterious fairy tales of the past, Wong sought to create a modern fairy tale that delved into the complexities of fatherhood with a cryptic edge. As the story unfolded, Wong stated "I was intentionally trying to bring this darkness into this film" he reflects. "It is a strange brew." One of the film's standout aspects is the authentic bond between the two lead actors portraying the father-daughter duo, Daniel and Collette. Wong praises their professionalism and the genuine connection they brought to their roles. "The two leads that play the father and daughter knock it out of the park," he says. "They just had these adorable father and daughter games they would play, and you could really see them and feel the connection." Reflecting on the blend of fantasy, thriller, and heartfelt storytelling in "BA," Wong acknowledges the challenges of balancing these diverse elements. "From the outside being 100% honest I wanted to do something different so if I’m going to try to contribute to the conversation I wanted to stand out and have a different perspective," he remarks. Despite the inherent challenges of creating a low-budget independent film, Wong expresses pride in the collaborative effort that shaped the final product. "It’s a low-budget, independent film, things change, and go wrong but the end product turned out to be a team effort and it morphed and changed over time," he adds. "I am so proud of what we did and sometimes you’re there for the ride and it just takes you where you need to be." As anticipation mounts for the release of "BA," Wong reveals that the film is currently making its rounds at international film festivals as they search for distribution. With its blend of darkness, mystery, and heartfelt emotion, "BA" promises to captivate audiences and leave a lasting impression. In the world of "BA," where darkness intertwines with familial love, Benjamin Wong has crafted a modern fairy tale that defies conventions and explores the depths of the human experience. As the film continues its journey, audiences eagerly await the opportunity to embark on this dark and mysterious adventure.
- Unlocking The Path To Financial Empowerment: A Conversation With Vijay Marolia
By Robert White, Editor-In-Chief In the bustling world of finance, where numbers often dominate the narrative, Vijay Marolia, Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Regal Point Capital brings a refreshing perspective that transcends mere profit margins. A seasoned money manager with over two decades of capital markets experience, Marolia's journey from curious Kentucky kid to visionary entrepreneur underscores the transformative power of early education on personal finance and entrepreneurship. Marolia's passion for finance was ignited at a tender age, perhaps no older than six, as he accompanied his father to the bank in Florida. It was there, amidst the sterile environment of financial transactions, that young Marolia began his lifelong quest for understanding the intrinsic value of money. "Why" questions flowed effortlessly from his lips, revealing an innate curiosity that would shape his future endeavors. The lessons gleaned from these early experiences laid the foundation for Marolia's journey into the complex world of finance. Through diligent study and hands-on experience at a wealth management firm, he delved into diverse investment vehicles, from stocks to bonds to private equity. Yet, it was a personal trip to India and a voracious appetite for knowledge that crystallized his vision—to create a partnership that would manage money without the encumbrances of intermediary institutions. "Price is absolute, and value is relative," Marolia asserts, encapsulating the essence of his investment philosophy. He understands that prices fluctuate not merely based on economic fundamentals but also on the unpredictable whims of human emotions. It's this nuanced understanding of market dynamics that guides his approach to risk management, where safeguarding against losses takes precedence over chasing elusive rewards. Recognizing the dearth of financial education among youth, Marolia embarked on a mission to fill this void. His book, "Baby’s 1st Bu$iness Book," breaks new ground as one of the first business books tailored for infants, aiming to instill foundational concepts of finance from an early age. "Education is the key," Marolia emphasizes, lamenting the lack of emphasis on practical financial literacy in traditional curricula. In his latest venture, Dharma Investing, LLC, Marolia channels his passion for education and entrepreneurship into tangible action. By funding projects focused on these twin pillars of societal advancement, he seeks to foster a generation of financially savvy and innovative minds poised to tackle the world's most pressing challenges. As Marolia envisions it, the forthcoming documentary from Dharma Investing will unveil the most pervasive lies across various domains—financial, health, political, criminal, and religious. It's a testament to his unwavering commitment to truth and enlightenment, transcending the confines of conventional finance to embrace broader societal issues. In essence, Vijay Marolia's journey epitomizes the transformative power of education and entrepreneurship in shaping not just individual destinies, but the collective future of society. Through his tireless efforts, he continues to illuminate the path towards financial empowerment, inspiring generations to come.

Armed with a gemology degree and a wealth of experience gained from appraising diamonds for prestigious jewelry stores, Karina's passion for innovation eventually led her to explore new horizons. "After a few years, I got bored and wanted something new," she admits. It was her lifelong love affair with horses that paved the way for her groundbreaking venture into equestrian-themed jewelry. The genesis of Karina's equestrian-inspired creations can be traced back to a serendipitous encounter at a charity event. "Many years ago, my friends started a charity, and I came to the event and saw the shops and vendors that were selling," she recalls. "I am very well known in my market and niche," Karina explains, emphasizing her meticulous attention to detail in selecting gemstones that embody the essence of Faith, Chance, and Destiny. As Karina Brez continues to push the boundaries of innovation and creativity in the world of fine jewelry, her unwavering dedication to her craft and her profound love for horses remain at the heart of her timeless creations. With each piece, she weaves a tale of elegance, resilience, and empowerment, inviting wearers to embrace the transformative power of belief, serendipitous opportunities, and the fulfillment of true purpose. In Karina's world, every jewel is a masterpiece—a testament to the enduring legacy of a visionary jeweler whose passion knows no bounds.
- FOGO: How to overcome the fear of going out after 12 months of lockdown!!
For many people with the relaxation of lockdown rules across the country and the permission to hug and prod others endlessly (with common sense – is that the most subjective phrase ever), they might be feeling like they’ve dodged a bullet and ready to carry on where they left off last year, for others there’s anxiety and trepidation and the fear of a 3rd wave… How are you feeling about the whole thing? As a single person, I must admit I adjusted beautifully to lockdown as I pulled up the drawbridge at Castle Fraser, I was rather surprised at how my inner introvert was coaxed out in the sanctuary of home and in some ways, I have flourished! Now, we’re able to maurade around the country at will, I’m thinking…do I really want to? Perhaps, I’ll put off the plundering for another night and get back to weaving at my loom until July. Is this pragmatism or the dreaded FOGO!? It’s probably a bit of both, and to be fair. Some time ago and at the height of my business success, I was meeting hundreds of people and presenting to thousands. I found myself talking endlessly about the same stuff whilst presenting excitement and interest. The pressure and the pull on my energy was quite substantial. After a while, I did find myself avoid crowds and environments where I had to ‘perform” and the thought of small talk ‘ad nauseam’ and ‘dressing for success’ (whilst being judged endlessly and found wanting) made me desire a more simple and quiet life for myself which I still value today. The lockdown just gave me Governmental permission to be un-observed and extend that isolation further because for the last 12 months I haven’t had to make up excuses as to why I don't want to go out. This isn’t healthy either. Going back to our old way of life and doing all the things we once took for granted all at once can be overwhelming for some, could manifest anxiety or maybe you just have generalized agoraphobia because you think you might not know how to do it anymore or convinced a 3rd wave is lurking behind a bush in the High Street. There has to be balance. 1. Stop putting pressure on yourself and don't let others put pressure on you either (by telling you how they think you should be and do). Gently re-adjust yourself at a pace that suits you and gently adjust your agenda to start reflecting a freer lifestyle whilst maintaining some of the self-care practises you put in place from March 2020. 2. FOMO. The fear of missing out. Work on minimising comparing yourself with others as another friends posts a picture of them with a lasagne in pub garden. Good for them and let them get on with it because I promise you, you’re not missing a thing. You’ll be ready for your “scampi and fries” selfie before you know it! 3. Check your energy levels because doing nothing can fatigue you also. We’ve not been going out; our sleeping patterns may have changed somewhat, and our lives have become so much slower as we use less energy to do things. Throwing yourself into the social whirl could fatigue you more both physically and psychologically. Take it easy and maybe consider adding one extra thing per week or not. There’s no rush. 4. Wear something different. I’ve worn the same sweatpants wardrobe for 12 months. It so familiar and easy and I’ve never felt more relaxed, but I feel like I could make more of an effort and wear something a little more thought through than, “that’ll do”. Nice jeans, footwear and shirt – why not? Change up the energy with a new look and different feel. 5. Break the imaginary barrier. Fears often feel bigger in your imagination than in reality. Getting back on the train, going to the restaurant - all that's stuff could feel less daunting if you try it off peak. After you’ve been on the tube, done it once, been careful and achieved your task you might feel that the fear disappears completely and getting around safely isn’t so bad after all as life becomes more familiar again. At Cribsi, we celebrate the beauty of simplicity and functionality in modern design, but we also understand the importance of infusing your living spaces with personality and character. - Radmila Lolly's "Magic" Single Release and Birthday
Radmila Lolly celebrated on May 8th her "Magic" birthday in Miami alongside her longtime partner John O. Utendahl (Executive Vice Chairman of Bank of America) and many other remarkable guests, such as Shark Tank’s investor Daymond John and his wife Heather John, Ken Chenault (former head of Amex and current voting rights champion), Arnold W. Donald (CEO of Carnival Cruises), Kimberley Hatchett (Executive Director at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management), Richard Bressler (President, COO and CFO of iHeartMedia) and Lisa Gersh (co-founder of the Oxygen network), or Argentinian polo player Nacho Figueras and his wife Delfina Blaquier. Radmila Lolly, Delfina Blaquier, and Nacho Figueras Miami was the chosen city for the outstanding event. Lolly picked one of her favorite spots, the roof top of Mr. C - Coconut Grove Luxury Hotel, where her guests were captivated by the performance of her new single “Magic”, which was released that night, alongside a sneak peek of her upcoming album “DIVA”, performed by live string quartet, a choir, and a band. Radmila’s fashion line “Eltara Casata by Radmila Lolly” was presented by the musical artists, who were wearing her pieces, and by the magical holographic preview of the “Diva” collection presented by Portl. Radmila Lolly Portl is the world's first single-passenger holoportation machine -- capable of beaming anyone anywhere in volumetric 4K for interactive experiences. It was invented in 2019 by David Nussbaum who previously did arena sized hologram concerts but realized the need for a device that could create more intimate and interactive experiences in a portable and affordable way. The table top "Mini" version is coming later this year and will be able to deliver hologram content such as workouts, cooking instruction, and all kinds of entertainment -- and let people make hologram "calls" at home. John O. Utendahl and Radmila Lolly The night was full of surprises. We frequently see Radmila on the front line of the Miami Heat games, so some of the stars of the team didn’t want to miss the chance of wishing the singer a very happy birthday through a virtual prerecorded message shown through the hologram Portl. They were Bam Adebayo, Gabe Vincent, and Andre Iguodalo. The night counted on Haute Living (for whom Radmila is an ambassador) as one of the sponsors of the event. Organized by event tech startup, TablePop.
