Philip Doré's foray into the world of design began with his studies in graphic art, image, and advertising at the esteemed Institut Saint-Luc in Belgium. When asked about the influence of his Belgian education on his development as a designer, Philip remarked, "My studies allowed me to learn to master the associations of materials and colors, an eye and an artistic logic, a culture on the history of art but also to learn to work on the software that will serve me throughout my career." These formative years laid the groundwork for his future in fashion, providing him with a solid foundation in visual aesthetics and artistic sensibility.

Philip Doré's journey in fashion took an interesting turn when he decided to specialize in women's fashion for two years during his fashion studies. However, his unique perspective on gender and clothing was already taking shape. He shared, "I quickly understood that the future of this world would not be gendered. Current clothing can and should be worn in a unisex way, and I believe that the future generation will continue to evolve in this direction."

This realization prompted Philip to focus on men's design in his final year of fashion studies, setting the stage for a groundbreaking career that challenges traditional notions of men's and women's clothing.

The inception of Philip Doré's own fashion collection was a natural progression of his passion and vision. From a young age, he had dreamed of making fashion his career, and this dream finally materialized in 2020, during the midst of the pandemic. Philip explained his motivation for launching his own collection, saying, "I didn't want to do just to do. I wanted to create something that was artistic but also that could be a solution to a problem."

With a meticulous approach and years of learning alongside renowned Artistic Directors, Philip Doré's fashion label was born. His collection promises to be a unique and artistic take on men's fashion, challenging conventions and offering innovative solutions to contemporary sartorial challenges.

Philip Doré's design aesthetic and approach to luxury fashion have been shaped by his diverse experiences across different cultures and fashion hubs. His journey from Belgium to the fashion capital of Paris and later to the American West Coast has enriched his creative sensibilities.

In Belgium, he imbibed the values of minimalism and singularity in clothing, while in France, especially during his tenure at Givenchy and Zadig and Voltaire, he honed the art of attention to detail, striking a balance between creativity and commercial viability. His time spent on the American West Coast, particularly in Los Angeles, exposed him to a spirit of freedom and inclusivity that transcends culture, religion, and sexual orientation, all while infusing elements of rock into his creative repertoire.

Philip Doré's journey as a fashion designer is one characterized by an unwavering commitment to innovation and a profound understanding of the evolving dynamics of gender and clothing. His label is poised to redefine men's fashion, pushing the boundaries of convention, and ushering in a new era where clothing knows no gender. With influences from Belgium, Paris, and the American West Coast, Philip Doré's artistic vision promises to be a breath of fresh air in the world of luxury fashion.
